Halichoerus grypus (n) - one of two seals found off the coast of the UK, it's Latin name means hook-nosed sea pig.
The Specimen range of Greetings Cards has been inspired by carefully labelled specimens collected and stored in Natural History Museums, each with a careful note of their species in Latin written in calligraphy underneath. They're a great way to buy one of my original watercolour paintings, and look spectacular framed.
