Lepidoptera (n) - an order of insects that comprises the butterflies and moths.
Inspired by antiquarian butterfly collections - taking care to record and preserve everything from giant Amazonian blue morpho butterflies to the humble cabbage white.
Each butterfly has been hand painted in watercolour by London-based designer Maddie Chambers before being digitally printed in the UK onto temporary tattoo paper.
Directions to Apply: Simply cut out your desired butterfly, peel off the protective plastic film and place in the desired place. Apply a damp cloth/sponge to the area for approximately three seconds. The backing paper should peel away easily. Voila!
