Fungi Art Print

Fungi (n) - the kingdom of eukaryotic organisms that includes microorganisms such as yeasts, moulds and mushrooms. Chitin in their cell walls differentiates them from plants, bacteria and some protists. 

The Fungi print is inspired by an Autumn walk in the forests around Runnymede, spotting species from ink caps to Amythyst Deceivers, Oysterlings, Funnels, Parasols, Brackets and Shields. Each mushroom has been hand painted in watercolour before being digitally printed in the UK onto 150gsm recycled paper using eco-friendly inks.

For a vintage book plate feel, the species of each mushroom has been noted underneath in calligraphy. The perfect addition to an art collection or gallery wall, or great for adding a striking focus to a room on its own. This art print is packaged with a thick cardboard backing board hand-stamped with the Also the Bison logo in a clear compostable plastic pocket.
