Mesozoic (n) - the Mesozoic era, approximately 252-66 million years ago, encompasses the the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, or the age of the dinosaurs
Nearly four years in the making, the mesozoic print is inspired by my childhood fascination with dinosaurs. I have meticulously drawn the skeletons of all my favourites: brachiosaurus, diplodocus, ankylosaurus, tricerotops, spinosaurus and stegosaurus. The iconic velociraptor and T-Rex are featured too, and an iguanadon, one of the first dinosaurs ever discovered in 1822. Plus I've included a plesiosaur and a pterosaur even though these aren't technically dinosaurs, the print (or my childhood plastic dinosaur collection) wouldn't be the same without them. Each skeleton has been hand drawn in pencil before being digitally printed in the UK onto thick 300gsm card using eco-friendly inks. The front has a glossy water-based coating while the back remains matte to give it that authentic seaside souvenir feel. It’s a miniature work of art, send it to a friend or stick it on your wall - it’s up to you!
