Myriapoda (n) - the subphylum of over 16,000 species of arthropods including centipedes and millipedes. Although named for their myriad legs, myriapods range from having 750 to fewer than ten legs.

Following on from the popular Lepidoptera and Coleoptera prints, the Myriapoda print is the next in a line of designs inspired by the underrated creatures of the animal kingdom, wriggly things dug up from our gardens and hiding under rocks. Each centipede and millipede has been hand painted in watercolour before being digitally printed in the UK onto luxuriously soft pure silk satin.

This scarf is available in two sizes:

The Busy Lizzie Scarf is the ultimate style classic, as made famous by Audrey Hepburn and worn to this day by the Queen herself. Measuring 90x90cm, this can be seen modelled in the third image.

For a true statement scarf, the only option is the Iris Oversized Scarf. Measuring 134x134cm this scarf has enough fabric to wrap yourself up in, or makes for a stunning wall hanging. For scale, this scarf is modelled in the fourth image.

All our scarves are carefully wrapped in a hand-embossed box, ensuring they can be treasured for years to come. They make the perfect gift for yourself or someone special.
