Conchae (n) - a general term for shells of large snails whose shell has a high spire and a noticeable siphonal canal

This print is inspired by lazy summers spent rockpooling and collecting shells on beaches, displaying your prize finds just as generations of holiday makers have done before.

Each shell has been hand painted in watercolour  by London-based designer Maddie Chambers before being digitally printed in the UK onto a luxurious lightweight silk satin and finished with a subtle pin hem.

This scarf would make the perfect gift for someone special, or just to treat yourself. It looks great worn everyday or can make the perfect final addition to a statement outfit.

All our scarves are carefully wrapped in a hand-embossed box, ensuring they can be treasured for years to come.

This scarf is available in two sizes:

The Busy Lizzie Scarf is the ultimate style classic, as made famous by Audrey Hepburn and worn to this day by the Queen herself. Measuring 90x90cm, this can be seen modelled in the third image.

For a true statement scarf, the only option is the Iris Oversized Scarf. Measuring 134x134cm this scarf has enough fabric to wrap yourself up in, or makes for a stunning wall hanging. For scale, this scarf is modelled in the fourth image. Iris Oversized Scarves are made to order in 6 weeks.

Please keep your scarf safe from marauding moths inside its box when you're not wearing it. Silk can be dry-cleaned or gently hand-washed in warm water.

We do our best to ensure that Also the Bison products are all made as sustainably as possible, using natural, recycled and FSC certified natural materials. Please help us by recycling your packaging!
