Aestes (adj) - our word estuary comes from this latin root, meaning tide, reflecting the movement of the tide at river mouths.

The Aestes print is inspired by birds found along our coastal areas and wetlands, including  a variety of our most common and most striking estuary dwellers. I've included species of geese, oyster catches, avocets, egrets, spoonbills, herons, bitterns and even a lapwing to name a few.

Each bird is hand-painted in watercolour before being digitally printed onto 300gsm recycled card using eco-friendly inks.

This set includes one Journal with 76 Lined Pages and one Notebook with 36 Plain Pages.

Our notebooks feature a blank, customisable box on the front cover for labelling and recording your musings. Inside the pages are made of 90gsm recycled paper, perfect for jotting down notes, ideas, dreams and doodles. Notebooks are packed 'naked' and plastic-free, with a decorative kraft paper bellyband that makes them perfect for gifting.

Dimensions: A5, 21.0 x 14.8 cm
