Candle (n) - the collective noun for a group of Tapirs
The Candle of Tapirs print features all four living species of tapirs, and their babies. Young tapirs are covered in a spotted and striped pattern in order to camouflage them from predators, which they lose as they grow older. Sadly all four species are considered endangered or vulnerable, so it is more important than ever to raise awareness about these animals! Each tapir has been hand painted in watercolour before being digitally printed in the UK onto shimmering, lightweight pure silk satin.
Measuring 200 x 20 cm, our Aviator style scarves are inspired by Amelia Earhart and are finished with a fine fringe to the ends to make them the perfect shape to swoosh out behind you while flying a plane, or just strutting your stuff down the high street. This scarf would make the perfect gift for someone special, or just to treat yourself. It looks great worn everyday or can make the perfect final addition to a statement outfit.
All our scarves are carefully packaged in a hand-embossed box, ensuring they can be treasured for years to come.
