Pleuroceras solare (n) - a species of ammonite from the lower Jurassic, upper Pliensbachian period. Species of this genus were fast-moving nektonic carnivores. Shells can reach about 45 mm in diameter. This ammonite has been hand drawn in pencil before being digitally printed in the UK onto 100% PVC free responsibly sourced paper stock, which makes it just as recyclable as my other products, and has been finished with a non-toxic, permanent water-based adhesive so it can be stuck anywhere, guilt-free!
