Archaeolepis (n) - the earliest known ancestor of butterflies and moths.
This print is inspired by antiquarian moth collections - taking care to record and preserve everything from giant Death's Head moths to the common peppered moth. Each moth has been sketched in pencil before being digitally printed in the UK onto thick 330gsm matte laminated board for that authentic seaside souvenir feel.
It’s a miniature work of art, send it to a friend or stick it on your wall - it’s up to you!
Postcards are available to buy as a single postcard (£1), or as a set of six (£5).
Dimensions: A6, 105 × 148 mm
